These books take place in the pre-mortal existence and then continues with the next book in the mortal existence. Sounds pretty interesting but mostly I'm going to read it because it's been recommended by both my brother Cord and my good friend Tyler Norton. Hope it's worth the read.

This novel was discovered on one of Crichton's computers by his assistant after the author's death, along with another unfinished novel slated to be published in the fall of 2009. Steven Spielberg is to adapt the novel to film.

Michael Crichton

This guy really is becoming one of my favorite writers, to bad he's dead. This book however wasn't really finished by him so I don't know if it will be up to his other work. Only one way to find out.

Dan Brown

I'm surprised that I'm reading another book by this guy. I really don't like the way he writes, but his books stay somewhat captivating because he puts so much interesting information in them. Does that make sense to anyone?
Anyway another one from the author of Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code.

She began writing for children television shows on Nickelodeon and then moved to children books. The hunger Games is her first novel and is part of a trilogy. It is also the first book that was recommended to me by Katherine Crosby.

Stephen King

As the most financially successful horror writer in history, King has become a somewhat American horror icon. His first success and novel was Carrie. After writing Salem's Lot and The Shinning he wrote The Stand as his fourth novel. I personally have always wanted to try one of his books after watching the movie Shawshank Redemption, which was based on one of his books. I have also always wanted to experience getting scared by a book. So here's my chance.

Louis L'Amour

Primarily known for his western novels, L'Amour has written over 100 works. He has been considered one of the world's most popular writers and I have never read one of his books. My brother M.Jay has read a ton of them though and he says that "The Walking Drum" is by far his favorite.
One of the things I like about this guy is that it seems he has lived a lot of stuff he writes about. Living a simple country life and serving in World War II he has been around.

Dan Brown
This guy actually started in music. He is a song writer and pop singer with his own CD. He also seems to work with his wife a lot. His biggest book is the Da Vinci Code. It has the same main character, Robert Langdon, as in Angels & Demons. His books deal with a lot of facts intertwined in fiction.
His next book is about Freemasons, and is called "The Solomon Key"

After reading this book I'm excited to go and see the movie that is coming out in May. Once again anyone who wants to join me is welcome.

March Book Michael Crichton

This guy is amazing. I have no idea how one man can know so much about everything. His books are always jammed with so much interesting information and have such inventive story ideas. This is also his most famous book.

After I read the book I'm going to watch this movie again with whoever wants to come. Here's a video to help get you excited.

This was one of my favorite books. Another awesome book from Michael Crichton. If you ever wanted to travel to the jungles in Africa but know that you never will than read this book!

I got hooked on Grisham books for a while and you can't really go wrong with any of them. Because this was my first one though I guess I'll call it my favorite.

Alexandre Dumas

I got on a kick on trying to read some classic novels. I felt after this one that I wasn't ready to fully appreciate these yet. However I did enjoy this book and thought that the character Dartanian was so much more interesting than what I had been privileged to see in the Disney version with the awful O'Donnell trying to play his part.
